The projects span across North America, with new systems for [Phoenix Farms](https://phoenixfarms.ca/) in Alberta, Canada; [Eagle Eye Produce](https://www.eagleeyeproduce.com/) in Idaho Falls, Idaho; [Gumz Farms](https://www.gumzfarmswi.com/) in Wisconsin; and [Wada Farms](https://www.wadafarms.com/) in Pingree, Idaho. While each installation is designed around the unique needs of the operation, every customer selected Elisam for the same reason: fast, accurate grading backed by dependable performance. ![Ellips\_PNW\_OR\_ID\_2025-62](https://insights.ellips.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Ellips_PNW_OR_ID_2025-62.jpg?width=5517&height=3678&name=Ellips_PNW_OR_ID_2025-62.jpg) ## Fast, accurate grading across every metric Depending on the configuration, [Elisam potato grading machines](https://ellips.com/grading-machine/potato/) can process up to 40 tons of potatoes per hour while capturing 90 images of every potato. Powered by Ellips’ proprietary True-AI software, the system evaluates size, shape, color and external defects in real time, delivering fast, consistent and objective grading that increases throughput, reduces labor requirements, minimizes product giveaway and improves pack consistency.   ### Confidence built on consistent performance “Customers are looking for equipment they can rely on season after season,” said John Albert, General Manager of Ellips USA. “Whether it’s a high-capacity installation or a system tailored to a customer’s specific operation, the common thread is confidence in the technology. Reliability and grading accuracy are what drive repeat business and recommendations throughout the industry.” ![john-albert-ellips](https://insights.ellips.com/hs-fs/hubfs/john-albert-ellips.jpg?width=400&height=400&name=john-albert-ellips.jpg) ### AI-powered grading as a competitive advantage As labor challenges continue and quality expectations increase, AI-powered grading has become more than a productivity upgrade. It’s a competitive advantage. True-AI’s software-driven platform allows grading programs to be refined and updated over time, so a machine can adapt as varieties, customer specifications and market demands change. Consistent grading improves pack-out, reduces waste and helps growers and packers deliver a uniform product every time. ![Elisam CombiGrader for grading both potatoes and onions](https://insights.ellips.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Elisam%20CombiGrader%20for%20grading%20both%20potatoes%20and%20onions.jpg?width=1240&height=689&name=Elisam%20CombiGrader%20for%20grading%20both%20potatoes%20and%20onions.jpg) ### Local support from installation through service Reliable equipment is only part of the picture. How it is supported over its lifetime matters just as much. In the United States and Canada, every Elisam installation is backed by Ellips USA, giving growers and packers a local point of contact from initial line design through installation, operator training and ongoing service. ### A track record that drives long-term partnerships High throughput, accurate grading, and reliable service are key reasons customers return for additional lines and recommend Elisam grading across the industry. For many operations, that ongoing relationship turns a single purchase into a long-term partnership that grows alongside the business. Since introducing its varietal potato grading solution in 2020, Ellips has installed more than 25 Elisam potato grading lines worldwide. The continued expansion across North America reflects growing confidence in AI-powered grading technology that delivers measurable results season after season.  ### Ready to revolutionize your business? - --- Maximize throughput with less labor - --- Improve quality consistency - --- Get the most value out of each produce ![Rowan Parmenter-1](https://insights.ellips.com/hubfs/Rowan%20Parmenter-1.jpg) Contact us or request a demo [Contact Rowan](https://info.ellips.com/en/contact-us-potatoes-usa) [Request demo](https://info.ellips.com/en/book-potato-demo-usa) ![CTA\_potato\_3](https://insights.ellips.com/hubfs/CTA_potato_3.png) ![Ellips](https://insights.ellips.com/hubfs/raw_assets/public/Ellips_Group_August2023/images/logo.svg "Ellips") - [Our customers](https://insights.ellips.com/customers) - [Why Ellips Group](https://ellips.com/why-ellips/) - [Our vision](https://ellips.com/vision/) - [Insights](https://insights.ellips.com/blogs) - [Videos](https://insights.ellips.com/videos) - [Careers](https://ellips.com/careers/) - [Client portal](https://ellips.com/client-portal/) - [Contact](https://ellips.com/contact/) - Fruit & Vegetables - [Potatoes](https://ellips.com/grading-machine/potato/) - [Dates](https://ellips.com/grading-machine/date/) - [Cherry tomatoes](https://ellips.com/grading-machine/cherry-tomato/) - [Oranges](https://ellips.com/grading-machine/orange/) - [Peaches](https://ellips.com/grading-machine/peach/) - [Apples](https://ellips.com/grading-machine/apple/) - [Cherries](https://ellips.com/grading-machine/cherry/) - [Kiwis](https://ellips.com/grading-machine/kiwi/) - [Pomegranates](https://ellips.com/grading-machine/pomegranate/) - [Brussels Sprouts](https://ellips.com/grading-machine/brussels-sprouts/) - [Onions](https://ellips.com/grading-machine/onion/) - [Blueberries](https://ellips.com/grading-machine/blueberry/) - [Lemon & Lime](https://ellips.com/grading-machine/lemon-lime/) - [Pears](https://ellips.com/grading-machine/pear/) - [Bell peppers](https://ellips.com/grading-machine/bell-pepper/) - [Tomatoes](https://ellips.com/grading-machine/tomato/) - [Apricots](https://ellips.com/grading-machine/apricot/) - [Plums](https://ellips.com/grading-machine/plum/) - [Grading Solutions](https://ellips.com/grading-solutions/grading-machines/) - [Elisam machine](https://ellips.com/grading-solutions/elisam-grading-machine/) - [Elifab machine](https://ellips.com/grading-solutions/elifab-grading-machine/) - [Grading technology](https://ellips.com/grading-solutions/grading-technology/) - [Artificial Intelligence](https://ellips.com/grading-solutions/artificial-intelligence-grading-technology/) - [Service & support](https://ellips.com/grading-solutions/grading-solutions-service-support/) - **© 2026 Ellips Group** - [Terms and conditions](https://ellips.com/contact/terms-and-conditions/) - [Privacy](https://ellips.com/contact/privacy/) ```json { "@context" : "https://schema.org", "@type" : "BlogPosting", "author" : { "@type" : "Person", "name" : "John Albert", "url" : "https://insights.ellips.com/customers/author/john-albert" }, "dateModified" : "2026-10-02T12:28:27.606Z", "datePublished" : "2026-10-02T12:28:27.000Z", "headline" : "Ellips adds four new Elisam Potato Grading installations across North America", "image" : [ "https://insights.ellips.com/hubfs/FL_site%20header_1600x840px_2026b2%20(1).jpg" ], "mainEntityOfPage" : { "@id" : "https://insights.ellips.com/customers/ellips-adds-four-new-elisam-potato-grading-installations-across-north-america", "@type" : "WebPage" }, "publisher" : { "@type" : "Organization", "logo" : { "@type" : "ImageObject", "url" : "https://insights.ellips.com/hubfs/logo.svg" }, "name" : "Ellips" } } ```
